About

The intention was to bring awareness to a special group of talented Visual Artists working in Toronto and the Greater Toronto Area. The goal was simple: provide a platform so they could share their work and tell their stories. 

Canvas Invaders was created out of the realization that there was a lack of diversity in the Canadian art scene. A space where art lovers and collectors could learn, view and purchase work from emerging Black artists.  

With community in mind, we have developed a diverse collection of art, artists, and stories removing any doubt about who can create,collect and most importantly who can appreciate Art.
