Canvas Invaders Presents: Prelude by Simone Cotrell

“Prelude” is an art exhibition featuring art by the amazing visual artist Simone Cotrell. The exhibition runs until the end of April and is located in the Minds Eye Studio / @mindseyestudioart in Kitchener Ontario.  The show was curated by Glodeane Brown / @culturefancier who did an amazing job ensuring the show and the art flowed smoothly! Simone’s work is a mix of the female form with a splash of abstraction which serves to empower women and create sisterhood, especially in the Black and BIPOC community. Simone is a self taught artist who I believe is starting to find her stride and we can’t wait to see what she creates next.
