Simone Cotrell is a self taught visual artist with Jamaican Caribbean roots. Her art uses vibrant colours and figurative forms that empower women and create bonds of sisterhood within the Black and BIPOC community. She resides in the Waterloo Kitchener area, outside of Toronto and is already making a huge impression on the art scene across both cities. Simone is definitely an artist on the rise and we are super excited to see what she shares with us in the future!
